There are so many wonderful Adirondack attractions close to Stewarts Pond Family Campsites! You will never find yourself with nothing to do! Not only is Stewarts Pond within one of the nation’s largest parks, the Adirondack park we are also located just minutes away from two of New York’s premier summer vacation spots! Lake George is known for its tourism and Saratoga Springs is the August place to be with its famous Thoroughbred horse racing track. Grant Cottage State Historic Site is an Adirondack mountain cottage on the slope of Mount McGregor in the town of Moreau, New York. Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th President of the United States, died of throat cancer at the cottage on July 23, 1885.

The National Museum of Dance

The National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame, in the Saratoga Spa State Park, Saratoga Springs, New York, was established in 1986. It contains photographs, videos, artifacts, costumes, and biographies. The museum is located in the former Washington Bath House and was founded by Marylou Whitney.
